Playoff Round 1 Game Results

The first round of playoffs saw Giant Tiger defeat Bremner Orthopaedics 2-1. Carly Marshall and Rachel Schaus were the goal scorers for Giant Tiger, assisted by Robin Lee and Janice Godin. The Bremner goal was netted by Carly Turner and assisted by Julianne Bouswhuis.

Game two had the Friendly Fermentor lead the way with a 4-2 win over Victory Fire Equipment. Friendlies Haylee Lawlor got a hat trick and Mary Nixon scored one goal. Assists went to Layne Lampshire with three and Megan Hendry, Nicole Shanks and Robin Root with one apiece. The Victory Fire goals went to Betsy Maus and Rachelle Comstock, assisted by Roz Wassegijig, Jen Woolhouse and Hailey Wiken.

Tier 2  copied the score of the previous game with Kelsey's/Montana's defeating Home Hardware 4-2. Goals for Kelsey's/Montana's went to Jen Hill Carlos with two and Paula Smith and Carol McCulligh with one each. Assists went to Nadine Munroe, Jen Page, Barb Curry and Brenda Lucas. The Home Hardware goals went to Pam Dooley and Kyla Barnett, assisted by Brittany Barton and Amy McCuaig.

The last game of the night resulted in Jim Wilson/Nutrafarms being victorious over Kutting Edge/Remax Harvey Watt 5-0. Christine Basaraba netted two goals while Laura Cicinelli, Stacy Strong and Sheena Tolland got one apiece. Assists went to Jill Garrod with two and Maryleagh Palero, Lisa Martin and Eileen Shewen with one each. The lone shutout for the night went to Josee-Anne Gill, sponsored by Kevin Wood Real Estate.
Playoff finals start Sunday April 2nd at 6:30 at Rotary arena.
