Sunday game highlights...

The Orillia Ladies Hockey League started the night off with a scoreless game between Jen Hill Construction/Lake Country Animal Hospital and Home Hardware. The evenly matched game saw superior goaltending on both teams by Michelle Postill and Lori Barker, sponsored by Kevin Wood Real Estate.

Game 2 saw Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change/Ledgers Orillia lead the way with a 2-1 win against Nutrafarms Inc. Jen page and Britt Lowry were the goal scorers for Pennzoil/Ledgers, assisted by Gail Naccarato, Jen Lowry and Lorna Telford. The Nutrafarms lone goal was netted by Erin MacCormack assisted by Lindsay Allan and Carol Walker.

Tier one saw Giant Tiger lead the way with a 3-2 win over Kelsey’s Roadhouse. Goal scorers for Giant Tiger were Josee Anne Gill with one goal and Haylee Lawlor with two goals and an assist. Other assists went to Carly Turner and Kim Banks. Kelsey‘s two goals were compliments of Kimmy Price and Mel Rahn-Calhoun, assisted by Breanna Robertson, Rachel Schaus, Angela Paylor and Denise Lynch Lacroix.

In the final game of the night Bremner Orthopaedics beat Erin K. Watson Law Corp. 1-0, with Megan Hendry scoring the only goal, assisted by Sarah Taher. The shut-out went to goalie Theresa (Snowbank) Lippai sponsored by Kevin Wood Real Estate, to end off another great night of Renegades hockey in Orillia.
