Renegade Game Results for Sunday October 14th, 2018


The Renegades kicked off October with a scoreless game between the Geneva Event Centre and Giant Tiger. The goalies who gained shutouts were Carol Zaborski and Kerri Robins, sponsored by Harvey Watt Remax.
 
Game two saw Ledgers Orillia defeat Kelsey's Roadhouse 3-2. Winning goal scorers were Rachel Comstock (2,1) and Brooke Haus (1,1), assisted by Kara Hawkins (0,3). The Kelsey's goals were both netted by Danielle Pauze, assisted by Megan Lewis and Haylee Lawlor.
 
The final tier one game was a low scoring game with Lake Saint George Golf Club taking the 2-1 win over Erin K. Watson Law. The two singles for Lake Saint George were compliments of Amanda Manning and Nicole Chute, assisted by Nancy Barr and Mel Rahn-Calhoun. The lone Erin K. Watson goal was netted by Megan Hendry and assisted by Carissa Northcott and Mary Nixon.
 
Tier two started with Nutrafarms/Kutting Edge Promotions defeating Bremner Orthopaedics 5-3. Britt Lowry (3,1) got a hat trick and singles went to Stephanie Duckett and Diana Hobden for Nutrafarms/Kutting Edge. Assists went to Ramona Mark, Susan Predum and Joanne Matte. Bremner's Pam Dooley also scored a hat trick for team Bremner, assisted by Anita Raikes, Ashley Oulette, Kara Backway and Jen Page.
 
The 9pm game ended with a 4-3 win for Home Hardware against Jen Hill Construction/Lake Country Animal Hospital. Goals for Home Hardware went to Amy Angus (2,1) and Shannon Bentley (1,2) and Sarah Taher (1,0) with Lisa Martin helping with an assist. The Jen Hill Construction/Lake Country Animal Hospital goals were netted by Carlos Hill (1,1), Jill Garrod (1,1) and Hannah Epstein (1,0), with an assist going to Erin MacCormack.
 
The last game of the night was a super close game that ended in a 3-3 tie. Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change/IG Wealth Management goals were by Hayley Dobson, Devanne Thompson and pick up player Jill Garrod, assisted by Janet Peroni, Carol Walker and Tracey Holmgren. Sunshine Superwash/Shanks ENJO trailed 3-1 going into the 3rd period and caught up to a surprising finish. Goal scorers were Nicole Shanks, Lisa Scott and pick up player Shannon Bentley with an assist going to Jen Morton to end out another exciting night of Orillia Ladies' hockey.
