Game report by Shanks....

Ledgers Orillia and Kelsey's Roadhouse started the night off with a 2-2 tie. Ledgers goals were netted by Nat Rivard and Julie Thurston, assisted by Angie Walsh and pick up player Amy Duchemin. Danielle Pauze scored both goals for Kelsey's, assisted by Rachel Schaus  and Charlotte Belliveau.

 

Game two ended in another tie. The 3 goals for Erin K. Watson Law Corp. were scored by Haylee Lawlor (2,0) and Julianne Bouwhuis (1,0) assisted by Kate Rheault. The 3 Lake St. George Golf Club goals came from Carly Payne, Kelsey Rozon and Mel Rahn-Calhoun assisted by Clara Hall.

 

The last tier 1 game saw the Geneva Event Centre defeat Giant Tiger 2-1. Kara Hawkins netted the 2 winning goals for the Geneva, assisted by Nicole Chute, Josee Anne Gill and Shannon Green. The single for Giant Tiger was compliments of Anne Newman, assisted by Sarah Crowther.

 

The first game of tier 2 started with Jen Hill Construction/Lake Country Animal Hospital taking the 5-3 win against Home Hardware. Winning goals went to Hannah Epstein with a hat trick followed by 2 singles by Wendy Ceccanese and Carlos Hill, assisted by Anne Epstein, Janet Peroni, Anne Dockendorff and Barb Curry. The 3 Home Hardware goals were netted by Sarah Taher, Diana Hobden and Shannon Bentley, with assists going to Angela Whitten and Melissa Huffman.

 

The 9pm game resulted in Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change/IG Wealth Management taking the 5-1 win against Sunshine Superwash/Shanks ENJO. The lone Sunshine/Shanks goal went unassisted by Nicole Shanks, while the winning Pennzoil/IG goals were netted by Carol McCulligh, Jill Garrod, Lorna Telford and Paula Smith with 2 goals. The assists went to Janet Peroni, Amy McCuaig, Carol Walker and Devanne Thompson.

 

The final Renegade game was a close one with Bremner taking the 2-1 win against Nutrafarms/Kutting Edge. The 2 winning goal scorers were Pam Dooley and Kara Backway assisted by Heather Bremner, and Linda Moorhouse. The single Nutrafarms/Kutting Edge goal was netted by Susan Predum and assisted by Joanne Matte and Brittany Lowry, to end off another great night of ladies' hockey in Orillia.
