On Sunday September 8th, 2019 the Renegades hit the ice for the start of another amazing season!


Friendly Fermentations started tier 1 off with a 3-1 win against Erin K. Watson Law. Winning goals were scored by Saleen Chubb with a double and Mel Rahn-Calhoun with a single, assisted by Brittany Ribalkin. The Erin K. Watson goal was netted by Steph Truax and assisted by Emma Leyhton and Morgan Hubley.
Game 2 was close with Sunshine Superwash/His & Hers Renos & Landscaping taking the 2-1 win over the Orillia Legion. Julie Thurston(1,1) and Megan Allore(1,0) scored the winning goals, assisted by Diana Moczkodan and Laura Kennedy while the Orillia Legion single was scored by Carly Payne, assisted by Stacey Venturo.
The Geneva Event Centre defeated Orkney Oasis 2-0 in game 3 that night. Singles went to Carissa Northcott and Janice Godin, assisted by Kiki Miller- Hodgson and Robin Lee. 
Goaltender Natasha McDonald sponsored by The Northern Joinery got the lone shutout of the night.
Tier 2 games were all super close and started with Kahuna Surf Shop taking the 3-2 win over Home Hardware. Jill Garrod(2,0) and Anne Epstein(1,0) scored the winning goals for Kahuna, assisted 3 times by Jen Page. Home Hardware’s single was compliments of Amy Angus, assisted by Amy McCuaig and Angela Whitten.
One of the late games saw Sports Medicine defeat Giant Tiger 2-1, with winning goals going to Stephanie Duckett and Amy Trumble, assisted by Pam Dooley and Heather Bremner. The Giant Tiger single was netted by Nancy Bar and assisted by Tina Lesk.
In the final game, Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change/IG Wealth Management took home the 3-2 win against Lake Country Animal Hospital/ ShopRemedium.com. Winning goal scorers were Britt Lowry, Devanne Thompson and Denise Lynch Lacroix, assisted by Cathy Norman, Erin MacCormack and Carol McCulligh. The Lake County/Remedium single went to Kelly Mollon, assisted by Sandy Drury, Lee Wassell and Sarah Taher to end off our first night of hockey.
